Driving Along the South China Sea to Hoi An, Nov. 9

Another day of surprises and visual delights. The city of Hue revealed an Emperor’s Tomb replete with complicated ornate mosaics.  This makes me want to texturize my collages even more…

And yet, Hoi An was another place to enrich the senses – a 400 year old Japanese bridge, merchant’s houses passed along the generations and colourful lateens every where you go! I couldn’t stop making small watercolors.
